I spent the entire month of October highlighting horror films, so let’s get into November with some great Writers who deserve to get some attention as well!
Time For Great “Nordic Noir!”
Norwegian Author Jo Nesbo has published a number of best-selling novels, but his series of Harry Hole Detective novels are classic “Nordic Noir”: dark, moody thrillers with a flawed Protagonist…Harry Hole is his version of “Dirty Harry.”

Jussi Adler-Olsen is a terrific Danish Writer, who created a series of great crime novels around “Department Q”:

Time to share my favorite Author of all time – the mad Hippie of the 60’s who delivered decades of wonderful books like this:
“Trout Fishing In America” is Richard Brautigan’s masterpiece, but he did so much more…here is a look at some of his greatest work:
Another legendary Writer is the iconic Charles Bukowski, who used his real life as a postal worker – and notorious drinker – to his advantage:

Yes, the master of them all: the late Hunter S. Thompson! He not only wrote the seminal “Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas”, he lived the wildest life a Writer could hope for – oh, and he interviewed fellow wild man Keith Richards!
