Sasha Grey Presents “GREYSCALE”!
Hey everyone, I want to share a great new artistic effort by Sasha Grey – here is the official announcement:
“GREYSCALE” is a new short format series that approaches art as poetic commentary along with visually stunning photography, hosted and created by Sasha Grey and directed by Mattia Venni Uberti. A far turn from traditional review and television documentaries, the episodes themselves becomes cinematic art. Our first pilot episode is a sample of what I hope the future can hold. Shot at MOCA’s permanent collection in Los Angeles, I take the viewer on a photographic and poetic journey. MOCA’s collection offers a wide range of artists, where as in the future we may chose to focus on a particular artist’s solo exhibition at a particular gallery in future episodes, or conversely, classic pieces at a variety of museums. This will provide for a different dialogue and reflection, creating an individual tone for each episode.
This beautifully filmed new series explores art in a unique way – please check out this terrific video:

I can’t wait to see more in this series, and bravo to Sasha and Mattia, the great Director of this video.
Of course, I have had the chance to work with Sasha in the past:
Sasha’s Shark Photo Bomb!
I filmed with Sasha in Australia for G4, when she went into an aquarium tank with sharks, and got photobombed!
These clips show Sasha getting ready to go into the tank, and then she walks among sharks and stingrays!
You can see more of her adventure here:
Sasha also learned to surf at Sydney’s legendary Bondi Beach – leading to this hilarious moment:
Sasha is on a creative roll right now, after publishing her first novel:
The sequel comes out soon, and you can read more about her debut novel here:
Sasha is also making movies with some very inventive Directors:
Sasha worked with Elijah Wood on a great thriller called “Open Windows” – check it out here:
Congrats to Sasha and Mattia on their new series!
